I didn’t expect to be starting over at this stage of my life.

After decades of work, travel, and living between the United States and Europe, I found myself at an unexpected crossroads. I’ve worn a few different uniforms in my time—military, professional, and now, something a little harder to define.

What’s never left me is a love of movement, of new places, and of the stories you only find when you step outside your routine.

The Next Chapter Letters was born from that moment of change. Instead of slowing down, I decided to keep going—to travel, to write, and to share those experiences the old-fashioned way: through letters.

Each one you receive is written from wherever I am in the world, shaped by what I’ve seen, who I’ve met, and what I’ve been thinking about along the way.
